Getting out of the kayak on dry land
Getting out of the kayak on dry land is probably the easiest way to get out of your kayak. If you're planning on getting back out of your kayak, the easiest way to do it is to practice getting out of the kayak on dry land. This is due to the fact that you'll be able to see exactly where you need to put your feet. Also, your kayak will be at least partially on the ground, so you will have more leverage. In fact, one of the things that makes getting out of the kayak in other situations harder is that the kayak itself might move while you are getting out. The first thing you need to keep in mind before you try getting out of the kayak on dry land is that the condition of the beach you're landing at will determine whether or not this is a good idea. After all, most beaches tend to be somewhat rocky, but you'll need to make sure that the beach you're going to get out of your kayak at is actually sandy and not rocky. If at all possible, you should scope out your landing area ahead of time, so that you will know if there are any obstacles that you should avoid. You will want to avoid going over any rocks. First, you should come into the beach slowly. If you come in too fast, then it's possible that your kayak could end up driving itself too far up the beach - which could be bad for it if you are still inside. Also, if there are any obstacles that you can't see from afar, you'll have time to notice and avoid them if you are moving slowly. Once you get up on the beach, you should be able to get out of your kayak. There are a few things that you should look out for, though. One thing, is that you should make sure that you never stand up while you're in your kayak unless it is definitely on the beach. Otherwise, you might tip it, which could result in getting hurt - or at least falling into the water and getting wet. Also, make sure that you keep an eye on the surf when you are getting out of your kayak on dry land. If the surf is too high, it might capsize your boat, or at least make it a little bit harder to get out. Once you are out of your kayak, make sure that you pull it up higher on the beach so that it will be safe from higher tides.
